This weekend at High Water Festival

The sound of Spring kicks off this weekend with this year’s installment of Charleston’s High Water Festival. Whether you’re a native, new resident, or traveler, High Water Festival is the essence of Charleston.

From culinary creations, non-profit organizations, and of course the medley of musical talents, the serenading stages will host an entourage of local, national and even international talent. Hailing from the Holy City is the dynamic duo Shovels & Rope, Shrimp City Records Family Band, and Susto. New Orlean’s own and NPR Tiny Desk Winners, Tank and The Bangas will be bringing a bit of sauce and sizzle to the Low Country. Valerie June will be gracing the stage as “Tennessee’s best kept secret” of the South. Additional headliners include Band of Horses, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Shakey Graves, Weaves, and Brandi Carlile.
